Happy new year to all of my amazing client, friends, family and fans…. what a start to the year I am having…. right before Christmas I had a few very sweet little boys in the studio for newborn sessions, this is Sebastian, he would not sleep for me, but looking at these images you would think he slept the whole time….. the first session I did with sebastian went for about four hours….. not thinking I had enough images I said to his mummy lets give it another go to get a few more shots the following week…….. the second session I did was also a marathon and he still didn’t like me to get him to sleep, I persisted and got a few more gorgeous images that are now being proudly hung on the walls of their home………congratulations Ineka & Branden on your beautiful boy….

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of second shooting a wedding with the fab Kim Vernon of Kimages ….. well it was a kinda wet/grey/sunny/warm/cool Thursday wedding in the Kurrajong Hills, I love that Kim had invited me along to stand by her side and watch her work her magic! and that she did…. the ceremony had only just finished and within two minutes it was pouring with rain, but it was such a gorgeous location that after the rain had come and gone we ventured out into the amazing gardens of the Loxley on Bellbird Hill Allison and Darren were such a special couple and decided that the wedding would include all of their children, and that makes them eight….. a brady bunch all of their own….. love is an amazing thing and when it shared by all, well what can I say….. Allison and Darren you have one very beautiful family and I wish you all the happiness in the world together, for ever………

look at this beautiful young man…. well gorgeous little bub….. this is seedling adam, you will remember I photographed his stunning mummy Elizabeth not that long ago…… and look at what she produced, adam was a little bit cranky on the day of his session but after a little bit of time with mummy, feeding, rocking, and slowly slowly he drifted off to sleep, not for long, but just enough for us to capture some amazing images….. I love how tiny he looks in his daddy’s hands….. and those precious lips are so sweet…..

Ohhh another gorgeous little girl was in my studio, and how I love them….. wrapped up tight with a hand knitted wrap, headbands and flowers….. so so pretty…this is the divine little millie, she was also about five weeks old when we photographed her and slept so sweet, I have been busy knitting new wraps and designing new headbands, which I love to get to use on the beautiful babies that visit me, I feel excited knowing the textured woollen wrap they are in is something I also created……Jo-anne congratulations on your little one whom I’m sure is not so little anymore……

I have not blogged in such a long time…… I apologise for the lack of images coming your way…..I have had so many gorgeous little girls in the studio lately, and I am loving trying out my new knitted wraps that I am making myself. welcome to the world charlie, how divine you are, at four weeks old charlie was a little older than I usually photograph my newborns at but I love to give any age a try, all we need is a little more patience and feeding time, and eventually baby will sleep….. Clare you looked like such a natural with your little one and I’m sure you will have many amazing days staring at your little girl….

I have had the pleasure of photographing many new expectant mums and each one of them brings a smile to my face, the anticipation, the glow, the bub inside the belly, so many things to look forward too! our sessions always start with a great cup of tea and a good gasbag about whats about to happen in their life, Elizabeth was due the week after we photographed her and was so excited to finally be able to see the little person that was growing in her belly…… congratulations on the birth of Adam Elizabeth, I cant wait to get him into the studio next week to photograph your new little man….

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the sweet sweet miss daisy, she was 4.5 months old at our session and we still managed to get a few sleeping shots! when she arrived for her session I was greeted with the biggest smile you have ever seen, and well as you can see from her images that the smile didn’t really leave her face! Thanks Jill for bring your gorgeous girl to me for her session, I do love to look at those big eyes, lashes and smile…. enjoy

I have had so many gorgeous little ones visiting my studio but not all parent wish to show their images on the internet, facebook etc…. I have had a run of boys lately and cant wait to have a few more little girls to photograph! I also had a great twins session recently but again am unable to show any images here due to privacy, but this little guy; Alexander was divine, I photographed his amazing mummy Lauren not that long ago and now she has a a sweet little boy to cuddle and hold tight! I had and idea for his session which I knew I just had to try, I had this basket for quite some time, but every time I put a baby in it I just couldn’t get a shot that I liked…. so I was dreaming about my basket and how I could make it work when I thought of a boat, its shaped like a boat so lets make it into a boat!! I went shopping for all of my goodies, and sewed and punched eyelets and put my mast together and TADA…. a boat…. Alexander is so sweet in it and I finally have a shot that I am proud of in my basket that i now call my boat! Lauren and Steve, you guys look so gorgeous as a family with your new little addition…… Nicole x

sometimes its hard to relax, sometimes my husband does not want to stop working, sometimes I just make him!! what a gorgeous sunday in sydney we just had, so why not a bike ride / walk to the beach, hot chips, coffee’s and coke, sun shine that warms right through your clothes, families walking, skipping, running and laughing…. I love these moment with my family, make the time, go sit by the beach one glorious day in winter, you wont regret it……. x

another gorgeous little seedling I have had the pleasure of meeting recently…… jamie had contacted me early in her pregnancy to photograph her beautiful belly and then her little seedling…. well like most babies things never really go as you plan, you have a due date, but not many babies arrive on their due date, you have a birth plan, but they don’t always go the way you jot them down on paper either….lets play music in the birthing room, as if that happens often!! but along come these gorgeous unpredictable little people that we love so so much! So I was about to ring jamie to meet her for her maternity session when she rings me and says we need to book a newborn session instead! their little man callum had other ideas about mum being photographed with him in her belly….. so we had a beautiful newborn session with a tiny little boy who was so cute and squishy and curly….. we finally got him to sleep and got all the beautiful shots we needed, I tried something a little different with dad and mum looked like she had just stepped out of the pages of a magazine not just had a baby….. congratulations jamie and steve, callum is just divine…..
